Al-Amal Center for Rehabilitation
• The center was established in 2005 as a private educational institution for the care and rehabilitation of people of determination (autism – mental disability) and is licensed by the Ministry of Community Development
• The center accepts those who are financially unable for free (a social research is conducted to verify the financial inability)
• The center’s vision: effective integration of people of determination into society, developing their abilities and living independently.
• The center’s mission: to provide the best educational, rehabilitative and educational services to develop the self-abilities of students with autism and intellectual disability and enable them to live independently and integrate them into society.
• Objectives of the center
Integration of people of determination in kindergartens and educational institutions
– Increasing community awareness towards people of determination
Providing people of determination with social behavior and self-reliance.

Categories and sectors benefiting from the services of the center
1- Autism from the age of 4-14 years
2- Intellectual disability, including Down Syndrome, from the age of 4-14 years
3- Parents, specialists and people of determination.
Pronunciation and Communication Unit
This unit diagnoses, evaluates and treats speech, speech and communication disorders through the best appropriate training programs according to the child’s abilities and needs through individual sessions.
Education Unit
the learnable unit consists of classrooms, each class consists of four children supervised by 2 special education teachers, and the classrooms are divided into individual corners and group corners. The programs on which these classes are based are inspired by a group of modern international programs (Teach – Lovas program – Help – Peaks – Apples – Portage) in addition to the Montessori and ABA curriculum.
Occupational & Sensory Therapy Unit
one of the important units in the center, where it provides a variety of services, namely (strengthening fine muscles – developing self-care and independence skills – treating all kinds of sensory disorders) and training is carried out on these problems according to specific programs inside the sensory therapy room.
Psychological Assessment Unit
This unit is considered the center’s main gate, where students enrolled in the center are assessed based on international diagnostic standards. The psychological assessment unit provides its specialized services and periodic follow-up of behavioral treatment programs for cases enrolled in the center. In it, students’ skills are evaluated to determine their strengths and weaknesses And knowing the developmental age for each field separately, through the application of a set of international tests (CARS – STANFORD BINET _ VINELAND – II _ G.A.R.S- 3 _ PEP-R)
